If you haven’t already done so\, you’re asked to return your baby bottle with an offering for the Pregnancy Help Center on that day. Jim will be preaching on “Given and Given Away” (I Samuel 1:10-11\,20\,27-28) starting the series from I Samuel entitled “Kingdom to Come”. \nBe sure to come out as we honor our mothers and\, even more so\, our Lord. \nIt’s been said\, “A good start is crucial\, but it’s the end that matters.” We see that principle in several Old Testament characters that may have had good starts\, but bad finishes. Starting on Mother’s Day and going on into July\, Jim will be preaching a 12-part sermon series entitled “Kingdom to Come” based on the book of I Samuel. This will include “Hearing God’s Voice” (I Samuel 3:1-21) on May 17th\, “A Bad Turn of Events” (I Samuel 4:1-18) on May 24th and “The Cry for a King” ( I Samuel 8:1-22) on May 31st . On Sunday\, June 7th \, we will be having “Youth Sunday” as the young people take over the service.

DESCRIPTION:The Community Lenten Services sponsored by the Greater Greenville Ministerial Association will conclude today at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at 131 E. 4th St.\, Greenville with the message by Pastor Dale Boeger on “Father\, into Your hands I commend My Spirit”.\nThis service is from noon to 12:30 p.m. with lunch provided afterwards for a donation. \nThe Good Friday (April 3rd) “Stations of the Cross” program will begin at noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (233 W. Third St.\, Greenville) before moving on to four other downtown churches.
