The “x-factor” in a person is, strangely enough, defined as “an indefinable, unique quality that makes them stand out.” Jesus certainly has some kind of x-factor, and yet, it oftentimes seems like Christ is getting Xed out of Christmas. But today, Jim will begin the sermon series “The Xmas Factor” with the message “Xing Him Out Or Making Room for the X?” (Luke 2:6,7; 10:38-42). Then on December 7th, the message will be “A Long Ways from Home” (John 1:1-3,14; 6:38).
